Pharmacy Retail Manager - Roscommon
QR Select are actively working with an independently owned pharmacy in Roscommon to recruit a front of pharmacy manager for their busy store.
Full time permanent role, working 40 hours per week. Pharmacy opens 6 days a week, with late opens until 7pm during the week
Experience working in an Irish pharmacy is essential for this position.

The position demands a motivated person, who enjoys managing a busy pharmacy. The successful applicant will have great customers service skills and previous experience working in Pharmacy. Experience managing a team is vital.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the front of shop - ordering, merchandising, stock management, dealing with suppliers
• Driving sales and reaching targets, seeking new business opportunities
• Advising customers, selling based on good product knowledge in the areas of OTC, vitamins, dermo skincare etc.
• Ensure good customer service and create good customer relationships
• Managing a large team, dealing with staff rotas, appraisal and disciplinary actions
• Leading the team to be productive
• Ensuring all members of the team are aware of and understand their roles and responsibilities in the pharmacy
• Encouraging colleagues' development and identifying training needs
• Dealing with any additional duties or and ad hoc projects as they arise

• Previous retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Good knowledge of pharmacy products
• Accuracy and attention to detail
