Support Pharmacist - Leixlip

PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a well-established independent pharmacy in the Leixlip region of County Kildare. The ideal candidate will work opposite another pharmacist and with a highly responsible and experienced support team.
The role is ideally with an immediate start - however our client is willing to wait for the right candidate. Newly qualified and experienced pharmacists are welcome to apply.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract role, requiring 3 to 4 days per week with alternating Saturday work patterns necessary as part of the offering. No Sundays, late nights or Bank Holidays are required. This role has the potential of leading to a permanent position at the end of the 12-month period. The position demands a motivated pharmacist, who thrives on providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the general community;
• Be team orientated and work well with others;
• Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately;
• Monitoring stock and communicating with suppliers;
• Assist the supervising pharmacist by ensuring SOP's are adhered to and updated; &,
• Other day to day duties.

• BSc (Pharm)/MPharm;
• Must be a registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI);
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good leadership abilities; &,
• Proven people management skills.
