Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our client's healthcare team within a nursing home. The ADON will assist in overseeing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and staff development. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and oversee nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Supervise, mentor, and manage nursing staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and policies.
- Monitor patient care quality and implement improvement strategies as needed.
- Lead the hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administrative teams to optimize patient care.
- Address and resolve patient and family concerns effectively.
- Oversee infection control, patient safety programs, and risk management initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to patient care and nursing operations.
- Develop and manage the nursing department budget, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid NMBI registration and PIN
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, healthcare regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Compassionate and patient-focused mindset.
