Travel Health Nurse Opportunity in Dublin!

Cpl Healthcare, in collaboration with our Travel Health client, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join their team at a brand-new clinic opening in Sandyford, Dublin. This exciting opportunity will allow you to provide a wide range of travel health and occupational health services in a supportive, private clinic environment.

Role Overview:

As a Travel Health Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive risk assessments, travel health advice, vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, and other travel-related or occupational health services. You'll follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality care while utilizing the client’s software for accurate record-keeping and staying up-to-date with current information. Effective communication and a professional, safe clinical environment are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide travel health and occupational health services in line with SOPs.
  • Deliver risk assessments, advice, and vaccinations tailored to individual patients.
  • Prescribe malaria prophylaxis and other relevant travel or occupational health medications.
  • Utilize the client’s software for up-to-date information and accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain clear communication within the team and ensure a safe, efficient clinical environment.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered Nurse with 3+ years of acute experience.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • IV Cannulation and phlebotomy experience and competencies.
  • Ability to make independent decisions while working in a supportive environment.
  • Knowledge and commitment to evidence-based best practices.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Infectious Diseases.
  • Full, valid driving license.
