Job Description
Job Title: Staff Grade Pharmacist
Location: South Dublin
Job Type: Permanent F/T
Salary: 48,995 -78,382
Organisation: Private
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Grade Pharmacist to come and join Ireland's Largest Private Hospitals in Dublin. This role will require the ability to work across the main pharmacy disciplines, including dispensary, clinical ward services, medicines information and Aseptic Services.
The team structure within the Pharmacy Department consists of a Chief Pharmacists, Senior Pharmacists, Basic Grade Pharmacists, and Pharmaceutical Technicians.
Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the hospital, including drug information, drug therapy monitoring, and medication review.
* The performance of all duties and responsibilities in line with all Pharmacy Department procedures and protocols, as well as hospital wide procedures.
* Participate in continuing education and research activities consistent with the post.
* Ensure best practice and compliance with agreed clinical guidelines.
* Ensure that all departmental and hospital wide Health and Safety protocols and procedures are adhered to and all areas of non-compliance are promptly addressed.
* Performance of such other duties appropriate to the post, including on call and the participation in extended opening rosters including weekend opening and other such services that may from time to time be introduced by the Director of Pharmacy Services.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
* Current registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines related to aseptic preparation and dispensing.
