Healthcare Assistant - Acute

Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to work in an Mental Health Hospital located in Kikenny

This is ageny work, we have day shifts available 8:00am to 8pm and night shifts 8pm tp 8am.

Requirements of a Healthcare Assistant

• QQI Level 5 Certificate in Healthcare or Equivalent.
• Valid certificates for Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Patient Manual Handling, CPR.
• Eligible to work in Ireland, EU passport or valid IRP card.
• Experience of at least six months within healthcare is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards.

Responsibilities of a HCA

• Assisting patients with high standards of care.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Assist and support other staff.
• Carry out tasks as directed.
