About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care according to residents' care plans.
- Understand residents' needs and provide companionship.
- Assist with mobility and personal hygiene, ensuring dignity.
- Support residents with eating, drinking, and achieving comfort.
- Participate in and help organise social activities.
- Maintain effective communication with families and colleagues.
- Adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
Contract & Benefits
- Type: Full-time, permanent
- Shifts: Day and night (flexibility required)
- Salary: €13.50 - €14.50 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements:
- Must possess EU citizenship be available to interview virtually on the specified date.
- QQI Level 5 or equivalent i.e. Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Nurse Assistant, Social Care, Special Needs, Nursing Care Technician, Technician in Care for People, Support Worker, Psychology, and/or Nurse qualifications
- Experience in elderly care is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Excellent organisational and observation skills
- A professional, caring, and compassionate nature
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
