Locum Practice Nurse

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Locum Practice Nurse to support a GP practice in Co. Wexford . The role is part-time, and there is a possibility to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy GP practice

Perform phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care, and chronic disease management

Assist with ECGs, cervical smears, and routine procedures

Support GPs in delivering patient care

Engage in patient education and health promotion

Requirements:

Registered with NMBI as a General Nurse

Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a GP practice or primary care setting

Proficiency in phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care, and chronic disease management

Strong communication and organisational skills
