Senior Staff Nurse

Are you an experienced nurse looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking a Senior Staff Nurse or Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to join a nursing home in Co. Cavan . This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in elderly care and nursing home settings who is eager to grow and take on a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents in a nursing home setting.

Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing and healthcare staff.

Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and best practices in elderly care.

Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.

Assist in care planning, risk management, and ensuring best practices are followed.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and well-being.

Requirements:

Active NMBI registration as an RGN.

At least 2 years of experience in a nursing home setting (essential).

Strong leadership skills with a passion for elderly care.

Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Experience in a supervisory or senior nursing role is desirable.

Commitment to professional development and career progression.
