• Medical Imaging Technologist and MRI and Nuclear Medicine
Technologists full-time permanent and fixed-term positions are
available across New Zealand.
• You may also be known as: Radiographer, Radiology Technicians,
Radiologic Technologist, or Medical Radiation Technologist.
About you
Exciting opportunities are available for qualified Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) who want to make a positive impact while working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and supportive team. Medical Imaging Technologist positions are immediately available across New Zealand.
We are looking for MITs who are passionate about delivering quality
care to our patients. With roles in general MIT as well as a range of subspecialties; MRI and Nuclear Medicine are available across the country.
Registration with MRTB (Medical Radiation Technologist Board) and licencing as a Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) is required.
Practitioners need to meet competency standards and hold Annual Practising Certificates (APCs) to work safely and effectively. More information on this can be found on our Career site just search Medical Imaging Technology.

Salary and Benefits

• Medical Imaging Technologists (excluding MRI and Nuclear Medicine
Technologists) annual salaries range from NZ $63K - NZ $118K, plus
allowances.
• MRI Technologists: annual salaries range from NZ $77K - NZ $116K, plus allowances
• Designated MRI Technologists (Team Leaders, Professional Advisors): annual salaries range from NZ $111K - NZ $151K, plus allowances
• Nuclear Medicine Technologists: annual salaries range from NZ $107K - NZ $136K, plus allowances
