Job Description

Excel Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 2 to join a Oncology Day Unit, in a private hospital in Dublin. Dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care with compassion, respect, and professionalism. The Nurse Manager will oversee clinical operations, human resource management, physician relations, and financial management to ensure optimal patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities of this CNM2 Job:

  • Lead and support oncology day unit staff in alignment with the Hospital's Cancer Service goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care processes and outcomes, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.
  • Recruit and retain competent staff, promote fair labour practices, and monitor performance standards.
  • Ensure the availability of safe equipment and supplies in a well-organized work environment.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and risk management processes.
  • Manage fiscal budget, adjusting staffing to enhance productivity.
  • Foster positive relationships with physicians, staff, and patients for better outcomes.
  • Participate in cancer service projects, including ChemoCare and health promotion initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience needed for this CNM2 job:

  • NMBI Registered General Nurse with a valid license.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Oncology Nursing, and preferably in management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with 2 years in progressive management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an oncology day unit.
