Clinical Nurse Manager - Medical/Surgical Inpatient Unit

Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM2) for a state of the art hospital in South Dublin. This position would be suitable for anyone with CNM experience in Medical, Surgical inpatient wards within Ireland.

This is a perfect career opportunity for anyone with previous management experience or someone who has recently done a management course and has CNM experience within the Irish Hospital Healthcare System.

This is a fixed term contract for 6-12 months.

Responsibilities of this Clinical Nurse Manager 2 job:

• Lead a team of nurses, care assistance and other healthcare professionals
• Report to the ADON
• Monitor and review work of staff and ensuring each resident is managed properly based on their needs
• Creating and managing care plans
• Maintain high standard of care and follow code of professional conduct as set out by the NMBI
• Act as a role model in clinical duties and work performance and behaviour
• Participate in disciplinary proceedings
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team
• Attend meetings as requested
• Ensure monthly audits and care plans are carried out
• All other reasonable duties.

Requirements for this Clinical Nurse Manager Job :

• Valid NMBI pin
• 5+ years experience as a registered nurse
• Acute experience in medical, surgical inpatient ward within ireland as a CNM
• Managerial course or similar experience is an advantage
