Job Description

Excel Healthcare are currently seeking an Oncology Liaison Nurse to play a vital role in supporting cancer patients and their families throughout their care journey.

Key Responsibilities of this Oncology Liaison Nurse:

  • Offer emotional and educational support to patients and families from diagnosis through treatment.
  • Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
  • Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to policy development.
  • Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance oncology services.
  • Provide education and mentorship to nursing staff and the wider healthcare team.

What you need to apply to this Oncology Liaison Nurse Job:

  • Qualifications: NMBI-registered nurse with a Higher Diploma in Oncology Nursing (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years post-registration, with 3+ years in medical oncology.
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organisational abilities; experience with IT and clinical practice teaching is an advantage.
