Social Care Worker

Excel Healthcare are currently recruiting a Social Care Worker to work in a day care facility in North Dublin.

This Centre caters to a range of service users with intellectual disabilities.

This is an ongoing contract based in a HSE facility near Swords.

Fast sign up, weekly pay, HSE payscale, holiday pay & week day hours.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with young adults with disability
• Care Plans, support and motivating service users
• Support each individual to live a happier, healthy and more independent life
• Work with one another on daily tasks and activities
• Monday to Thursday 9.00 - 16.30 and Friday 9.00 - 15.30

Requirements:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7, BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care or be registered/ eligible to register with CORU
• Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of office.
• A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
• Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character
